We, the ‘Alliance Students Against the Right’ (BSgR) are a unit of the Student Council of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg (since February 2014) and see ourselves, based on the free democratic basic order, as a:<\/p>\n

For us, right-wing ideas include: an anti-egalitarian view that sees people as not equal, discrimination and oppression historical revisionism, contempt for human beings of any kind, such as anti-Semitism or anti-gypsyism, nationalism, racial ideologies, the stigmatization of religious, cultural, and\/or sexual orientations

Organisation of events, seminars, panel discussions, exhibitions, etc. to address problematic situations;<\/p>\n mobilisation:
Mobilise as many students as possible for sympathy and committed participation in society, e.g. within the framework of demonstrations, events, rallies;<\/p>\n presence und networking:
through our active presence as an alliance and department of the student council, we would like to point out the urgency of permanent commitment against ‘right-wing’. We act as a contact point for those affected and offer opportunities for engagement and networking.<\/p>\n
